Reviving Buffalo grass in your lawn

A lawn will look complete only if it has greenery and just barren land would be boring and unappealing. That is the reason you should grow grass to bring life to the lawn. Once the grass grows completely, then you can look at growing other types of plants. Of all the kinds of grass that grows in places, Buffalo grass that is native to America is said to be very tough and it can thrive in drought too. Once grown, Buffalo grass will not wither away or get attacked by pests but poor maintenance can ruin it within days. The first symptom you will notice in rotten grass is the color. The lush green is dominated by bluish-gray tint and soon the color seems to grow darker.

Do not neglect such symptoms and the first thing you will do is to remove the foliage around the Buffalo grass in the lawn. Mow away all the weeds and ensure that the lawn is free of foliage and debris. Change your watering schedule and increase the number of waterings everyday for the patch of Buffalo grass. Use plenty of fertilizers and within no time you would revive it.
